That‘s odd how the illusion makes the ‘1’, ‘4’, and ‘7’ (but not really the ‘5’) appear to stick up above the small cap height because of the shadows cast in the bevel of their apexes. Maybe bump up all the other numerals to optically match?

It's really meant to be used as both parts overlapping, so I didn't really worry about that.

Ah, teaches me to read for comprehension :)

People, download thisand try out the beautiful two-tone effect for yourself (just remember to manually kern if the layers don't quite match – it's seamless when you got it)! I like mine with shadow & highlight reversed for a killer engraved look.

Yeah, it's too bad FontStruct won't let you change the metrics.

Someday the promised metrics controls will be unleashed...and then our free time will really be in trouble ;)

I just made a couple of minor tweaks to the '2' and '6' characters. Please download again if you've already got it.
