Thanks Thalamic! I'm very glad you noticed the impossible geometry effect that the letters suggests. I wanted to point it out in the description, but I was afraid it was not evident enough. Fortunately I was wrong.

Scary good and simply wonderful EM42. My only complaint is that your type specimen sample wasn't a carved pumpkin using this typeface ;-) The candlelight would have nicely illuminated all those great perspectives.

That´s what matters when you put fontstruct+escher+blackletter+Em42 in a cocktail shaker.. you have an new awesome Font cocktail: Candelabra.. :) Really good font... congratulations!

this is bad ass! don't know if escher ever did any fonts, if so this would fit right in and if not you nailed his style as a font. very nice dude.

Great work, Em42. You know, Metalista, by Suitcase Type Foundry, is not isometric (it's an homage to heavy metal culture), and yet it has similar forms! I love 'em both. :-)

@Afrojet: thanks, and as concerning the carved-pumpkin-with-candelight sample, if I have some spare time I will try to do it and publish it here. @Intaglio, Axel Leyer and Funk_King: thanks to you too, and as I said above, I am glad the geometry the font is based on is so readable. @SquarePeg: of course I know Metalista, and I like it a lot (even if I'm not a fan of blackletter fonts or heavymetal). Yet, as you noticed, the 3D isometry I played with is a very strong feature in Candelabra (I have many other 3D lettering experiments in my private FontStruct lab). Thanks for mentioning it!

Very clean, as expected Em! I can see this one rendered like kix's Cardboarder font. Please put the carved pumpkin on the Happy Halloween Font! You can write "BOOO!" :)

@Afrojet: last week I tried to design a pumpkin with some carved Candelabra text, but I was not happy with the result. @Geneus: thanks for your suggestion, and for the Happy Halloween pumpkin! This is what I got: I hope you both like it!

As the font was used for a digital flyer, it had some slight changes (T and 0) to increase readability, and a few additions. The flyer features Bee Legacy dingbats. Click for the full resolution image at my blog (I had to scale it to fit the width of the comment area).
