LOL. Cool characters. I can almost hear the bass twang.

A suggestion: Let glyphs be where they are supposed to go, without the characters (I mean: human characters). Then put human characters on other glyphs, with the space for the letters blank, and put the whole human glyphs left of the left edge. This way people can mix and match the letters and human characters. You want a Mimi with an X? Type X followed by *. The two should then overlap and form an X Mimi. &c.
