Cool! It really looks like it pops out at you. I think you should add the !.

Very nice 3D effect. Yes, it really pops out, thanks to the perfect grey shading. I would increase the space to separate the words. I deserves a full 10.

Thanks for the comments. I do have an '!' which I assign to the '/' key. The original '!' key is now for the non-ending '1'.

In our background, we don't usually put a diagonal line in the 'zero'. But in this font, it's a good cause to break up some black blocks.
So I added in today.

Smart solution to overlap the letters & beautiful shading effect.

***

Another approach would be to create two separate fonts: one for the background (current black), another for the foreground color (current white) – and overlap them when composing a document. This is more work (metrics need to be exactly the same in the two fonts), but opens a whole world of possibilities and frees the glyphs from being straight at the left. See a couple of examples of "font stacking" here, here and here.

This approach would also make designs like Hommage a Escher or Bas Relief possible – different shades of grey (color) can be made as solid surfaces in different fonts, instead of halftone patterns in one single font.

Great effect. The style is reminiscent of shasta's Lame Dude.
