Description:
I hate Times New. It deserves to be smudged, eroded, distressed, manipulated and otherwise abused. *Note: I wasn't looking at anything as a reference when I did this; probably should have - the "W" and the "M" would have looked better, but frankly, Times New doesn't deserve the attention to detail. : )

blows my mind. straight to a 10 voting :)

i love the way you created dirt and unperfectness. did you think about using those little "dirtpieces" for more detailed kerning settings?

and one small suggestion... i think your serifs should all have the same height on this one.
maybe it's on purpose, but if you watch "A" and "B" next to each other and then focus on where they barely touch it's just too obvious.

+ i adore the "fillings" of the characters!

Kix - thanks for the note about the serifs. I agree with you. I'll have to change that. To be honest, on this one, I was concerned more with the "smudges" and less with the actual letters - I was killing time waiting for a phone call and did this instead of a crossword puzzle! : )
