I love how you go all out with your font samples!

I vaguely recall a story of how Mozart's mother would get him to come down for dinner. She would play a scale on the piano, except for the last notes. It would drive Mozart so crazy that he had to come down and finish the chord. Now I am, by far, more Salieri than Mozart, but again, your work is affecting me in this manner. I see where you're going, and I see where I can take it further, particularly in your more complex designs. For me, they're kind of like unfinished masterpieces calling out to me. Your stuff makes me crazy and I love it!

G -

I remember reading that about Mozart; I've got a whole pantheon of personal heroes of which he is one. What a character! I can relate to the drive, as well. There are many things in life I see as being "unfinished masterpieces", or at least unfinished in my view. I don't know if this is arrogance or just the artistic temperament, but I've always had to change things - customize them - to better suit my eye. Nothing's sacred, in my estimation. Run with it.

Half the joy of constructing fonts here is knowing that at the end of 26 letters, I can use them in a sample. I want to "font" faster so I can get them into Photoshop and Illustrator!

Btw, have you ever read "The 26 Letters" by Oscar Ogg? If not, do so! I recommend it to everyone here.

i couldn' believe i didn't leave a note on this one; it's totally awesome to see, how you used the applet in a "new" and different way, somehow...
thumbs up!
