Based on the same grid as NCD PSMagazine, but I've changed 90% of the glyphs, thus creating something a little more original and versatile.
This is the Bold version, plans for Regular and Light are on the table.

Originally designed in June 2009.
Inspired by a font used in the Official Playstation Magazine in 2006.
I have tried to find out its name, but had no success. Does anyone have any ideas?
I wanted to buy it to use on a job, but having no joy, I had to create it myself.
The lower case is completely new.
Since first releasing this font to the public. The name of the Original font that my Upper Case is based on has finally been found, Yippee, it's called Community Service and is $89 (for several weights) from www.youworkforthem.com Many thanks to will.i.um for his detective skills. Roughly based on my NCD Black Square fontstruct, but massively scaled up to accommodate the internal lines.
I found that the small caps version works nicely when used in odd combinations with the lower case. Particularly the upper 'R'.
Most difficult characters were the F/f. I wasn't too keen on the open space they made, so I've added more than a few alternatives. The 'r', 'J' & 'L' gave me a similar visual dilemma.
I have also completed a version with Normal Caps. Which will be displayed soon.

NCD Reinforcia

Created 23rd July 2009. Originally based on teeth braces, then it turned into the internally reinforced steel bars in concrete pillars.
That are used in the construction industry to help support buildings secondary flooring and roofs.
Having helped my father build several houses as a young man, making this font resurrected many 'back breaking' days of shoveling cement into wooden jibs then dropping in the reinforced steel....!
It is certainly a lot easier designing a font.

NOT FOR PUBLIC USE. THIS IS FOR INTAGLIO'S EYES ONLY. I've changed the spacing.
I've also changed the upper S,A,L,Q,R,P & ?
and changed the lower case s,f,r.
I also increased the amount of SPACE between words.
Once cloned :-
Don't forget to change the global spacing by going to
PREVIEW >>> ADVANCED >>> SPACING >>> GLOBAL >> 1,2 or 3.
I've set it at 3, but you may prefer it at 1 or 2.

NCD Brick Stacker (One Grid)

This is a teaching exercise in the art of brick stacking (The merging and overlaying of two or more Fontstruct bricks to create an entirely new brick).
The rules were pretty tight as well.
1. Only use one grid space block (except M & W).
2. Make it as readable as possible. 3. Be Creative.
4. Brick stack each character.
The full set turned out fairly readable and worked good with some characters but not good with others.
My particular favourite is Capital 'H' which took 6 bricks to create!

Based on a Black Square of Russian Artist of Kazimir Malevich. Only using the smallest amount of manipulation possible to give a real minimalist effect. Whilst still retaining some form of legibility. The Black Square of Kazimir Malevich is one of the most famous creations of Russian art in the last century. The first Black Square was painted in 1915 to become the turning point in the development of Russian avant-garde.
