The end result is a highly readable typeface — even at smaller sizes — comprised entirely of straight lines. While the astronomical definition talks about alignment, the word “syzygy” more broadly means “the union of disparate or opposing object, ideas or concepts”. I wasn't very happy with the lowercase letters, which could not show a full gradation (unless they had ascenders). And I felt that many characters could be improved, too. The result is Strata Blocks Caps, which boasts a full set of Basic Latin and More Latin characters.I%20finally%20got%20around%20to%20upgrading%20Strata%20Blocks.%20I%20wasn%27t%20very%20happy%20with%20the%20lowercase%20letters%2C%20which%20could%20not%20show%20a%20full%20gradation%20%28unless%20they%20had%20ascenders%29.%20And%20I%20felt%20that%20many%20characters%20could%20be%20improved%2C%20too.%20The%20result%20is%20Strata%20Blocks%20Caps%2C%20which%20boasts%20a%20full%20set%20of%20Basic%20Latin%20and%20More%20Latin%20characters.

I may in the future make a version with lower case and other characters but at this point I feel like I should just leave it. Anyway blueprint is a huge font which very cyberspacy and it's a one of a kind.It%20has%20taken%20me%20several%20months%20to%20be%20sure%20that%20I%20want%20to%20release%20this%2C%20but%20I%20have%20decided%20to%20release%20it.%20I%20may%20in%20the%20future%20make%20a%20version%20with%20lower%20case%20and%20other%20characters%20but%20at%20this%20point%20I%20feel%20like%20I%20should%20just%20leave%20it.%0D%0A%0D%0AAnyway%20blueprint%20is%20a%20huge%20font%20which%20very%20cyberspacy%20and%20it%27s%20a%20one%20of%20a%20kind.

It uses minimal grid blocks to achieve the desired effect (although at ~2x2 and the slivers and the pinhole dots, there are a surprisingly large number of actual bricks used per glyph than evident at a quick glance, although not a single overlapping brick is used without express purpose). I think this is my favorite of all the ones I've done so far. It is with nervous anticipation that I let it free.
