However, it left not much space inside for any kind of meaningful rendering. Had to quadruple each glyph in order to get enough brick space inside to get some effect going. In the process I came to appreciate the true brilliance of the design and the awesomeness of certain characters. G, for instance.    I have scaled everything up, but have not taken any liberties with the shapes—they are true to the original. If a certain glyph is off, it is due to my ineffective eye and not borne out of a desire to change the original. (Point it out, and I'll correct it). Hope you like it.-----I live in the third-world; it is summer (well, it is here). Consequently, unannounced power outages 2, 5, 8 times a day are standard operating procedure. While/when we have power, my ISP may not. Consequently, unannounced internet outages 3, 4, 7 times a day are standard operating procedure. Out of 24 hours, I get 3, 4 hours of internet access on a good day. Everything everywhere is UPS'd up the wazoo. Still, UPSes need power to recharge. I never know when the computer might shut down or lose the internet connection. Consequently, I have become a master S-pusher. Especially the design of the caps was hard; sooo many possibilities! However, i'm proud to present you my first real blackletter font :) I would like to add some more glyphs to the "more latin" set, but the size seems to be close to the download limit. And I'm sure everybody got told at least once to finally shut down that damn computer while fontstructing. Here's how you can go on tinkering fonts even with the computer unplugged!;) I had carried this idea around with me a long time ago, doing some sketches, but abandoning it cause I thought all the thin and dotted lines would go beyond fontstruct's possibilities. Until funk_king proved me wrong... Thanks for the re-inspiration! I think this is pretty self-explaining. Cut along the solid lines, fold along the dotted lines and put some glue on the shaded parts, put it all together, and there you go with your new toys! Unfortunately it was impossible to fill all the inner sides of all the counters, but I tried to leave them open where you'd see it least. There might also be some bugs, I haven't tried them out yet. Pure brainwork so far... (My brain's still in the freezer to cool down a bit) In case someone ever actually uses them and finds something wrong, please let me know! Hope you like it!:) Check out the fill font if you wanna print your own custom-made design on the letters! Edit 5th August: Just copied the uppercase on the lowercase for reasons of convenience... After checking many of the available versions (specially Pauldhunt's Structurosa) I thought it would be fun to clone Meek's logo and update it with the bricks available now (logo is numbered 96 & this clone is 218867, Structurosa is 7294). I originally liked Meek's x but ended up just using it as the asterisk and the c and s got slimmed down to match the actual FS logo design. g and y came from Structurosa, which also influenced the e, x and k. And from Jenjes232's FSion I took the v. The rest just popped out while figuring out the possibilities.
