It has some Art-Nouveau influences, featuring contrasting bowl sizes, and sharp diagonal lines juxtaposed against flowing curves. When I began working on it in FontStruct however, I wasn't able to render its sinuous lines as I had first imagined. It evolved, becoming squared and angular, taking on a more Gothic feel; although, this suits its name. Small letters are only 6px X 6px and large letters are 8px X 10px. Diagonals play a very important role in the construction of each letter. Also diagonals are more thick than the horizontal and vertical lines if you notice. So I named it Diagonal Knife. I tried to keep the font as simple as possible using minimum number of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. Tried to keep the corners of the letters little blunt instead of very sharp. I then picked out the central line of each horizontal, vertical and diagonal strip, which left me with a very simple, disjointed, linear set of glyphs. Finally I extended each line to get a 3D effect. I think the result has quite a retro futuristic feel (if you know what I mean). Definitely a display typeface.
