Plus, instead of small caps, little things I use to do fancy pixel lines. 10 Downloads10%20Downloads1032 Glyphs32%20Glyphs32this family started from gridworksgridworks. once again i decided to do variations from the original to the solid version. another ongoing concern is the size of my files. this is actually the second set of eiffel. the first had several versions, but none would dl. so i went back to the drawing board. because i normally work using 2x2 filter that automatically increases the number of bricks that are used when the line or rectangle tool is used. when i did these the 2nd time i used copy and paste instead of line and rectangle. i think it helped, but when i got to v11 i wanted to do a full set - uc and lc - but, no dl. so the last version - 12 - is uc. this is the only version with ', ?, and ! punctuation. i thought about it, but no way am i going through 12 sets - at least not right now. so use this for punc. for now and the other sets for variety. i think there are some nice sets in here that offer several variations on a theme :)this%20family%20started%20from%20gridworks%3Ca%20href%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Ffontstruct.fontshop.com%2Ffontstructions%2Fshow%2F176821%22%3Egridworks%3C%2Fa%3E.%20once%20again%20i%20decided%20to%20do%20variations%20from%20the%20original%20to%20the%20solid%20version.%20another%20ongoing%20concern%20is%20the%20size%20of%20my%20files.%20this%20is%20actually%20the%20second%20set%20of%20eiffel.%20the%20first%20had%20several%20versions%2C%20but%20none%20would%20dl.%20so%20i%20went%20back%20to%20the%20drawing%20board.%20because%20i%20normally%20work%20using%202x2%20filter%20that%20automatically%20increases%20the%20number%20of%20bricks%20that%20are%20used%20when%20the%20line%20or%20rectangle%20tool%20is%20used.%20when%20i%20did%20these%20the%202nd%20time%20i%20used%20copy%20and%20paste%20instead%20of%20line%20and%20rectangle.%20i%20think%20it%20helped%2C%20but%20when%20i%20got%20to%20v11%20i%20wanted%20to%20do%20a%20full%20set%20-%20uc%20and%20lc%20-%20but%2C%20no%20dl.%20so%20the%20last%20version%20-%2012%20-%20is%20uc.%20this%20is%20the%20only%20version%20with%20%27%2C%20%3F%2C%20and%20%21%20punctuation.%20i%20thought%20about%20it%2C%20but%20no%20way%20am%20i%20going%20through%2012%20sets%20-%20at%20least%20not%20right%20now.%20so%20use%20this%20for%20punc.%20for%20now%20and%20the%20other%20sets%20for%20variety.%20i%20think%20there%20are%20some%20nice%20sets%20in%20here%20that%20offer%20several%20variations%20on%20a%20theme%20%3A%29

130 Downloads130%20Downloads1307 Comments7%20Comments7161 Glyphs161%20Glyphs161The Chesterfield Royal Family was formed from my desire to add new weights to the original Chesterfield typeface. In the process of drawing these new weights, I began modifying some of the forms of the new glyphs away from the original Chesterfield glyphs in order to build a more flexible brick/grid structure for the development of various weights. The most noticeable difference between these three new faces and the original is the lowered x-height. That said, there are still some compromises between the different weights and because of that I've given them these royalty names instead of the normal practice of light, regular, and bold weight names. One of the biggest compromises occurs in the Prince weight, where I was unable to add the notch where bowls and shoulders meet stems (see King and Queen weights) without adding too much extra black weight to those parts of the glyph.

A work in progress for sure. Any help/thoughts/repulsions/bile appreciated.

This is my second attempt at making a fontstruction... Finally finished it, took several days.
I might add extra letters(such as accents etc.) but for now I'm just going to sit back and be happy.

1 Downloads1%20Downloads126 Glyphs26%20Glyphs26A not-so-well-known cryptographic language. It's decoded or encoded by drawing a 3x3 grid(#) and an X. Put two letters in each. Top-bottom left-right for the grid, and clockwise for the X. Draw the outline of the section. Draw a dot in the middle for the second letter, or leave it blank for the first. Or, you can use this.
