Josef Albers' constructivist typographic experiments are a perfect match for Fontstruct. Other Fontstructors have done great work with Alber's ideas. Most notably, Saberrider's fontsract and Stewf's Leaflet family. Using Josef Albers' Kombinationsschrift alphabet (1928-1931) as my foundation, I've been having a lot of fun remixing and experimenting with his letters. 'Sessions' is the first to get shared. Originally based on teeth braces, then it turned into the internally reinforced steel bars in concrete pillars. That are used in the construction industry to help support buildings secondary flooring and roofs. Having helped my father build several houses as a young man, making this font resurrected many 'back breaking' days of shoveling cement into wooden jibs then dropping in the reinforced steel....! It is certainly a lot easier designing a font. "PacMan." His awesome knockout bout with Ricky Hatton last Saturday, May 2nd, in Las Vegas, marked a major victory in the acquisition of his 6th world title. His hands are so fast I have to wait for the slo-mo to figure out what happened. The letters M & P from Manny Pacquiao's logo became the foundation to create all of the letters in this font. This is a pattern Fontstruction based entirely on the Anni Albers textile pattern of the same name. "Anni Albers began a three decades long collaboration with the internationally recognized design company Knoll in 1951. During the course of this partnership, Knoll released five of Anni's designs: Track, Rail, Lattice, Jhet and Eclat. Originally designed in 1974 as an upholstery pattern, Anni Albers' Eclat, was first produced printed on a cotton/ linen ground in various scales and color combinations.
