After checking many of the available versions (specially Pauldhunt's Structurosa) I thought it would be fun to clone Meek's logo and update it with the bricks available now (logo is numbered 96 & this clone is 218867, Structurosa is 7294). I originally liked Meek's x but ended up just using it as the asterisk and the c and s got slimmed down to match the actual FS logo design. g and y came from Structurosa, which also influenced the e, x and k. And from Jenjes232's FSion I took the v. The rest just popped out while figuring out the possibilities. Same in Illustrator. Curious, I opened it in FontLab Studio. Turns out, the characters that have a half-wide brick left of the left edge in FontStruct are another half-brick-width over in the TrueType file. Josef Albers' constructivist typographic experiments are a perfect match for Fontstruct. Other Fontstructors have done great work with Alber's ideas. Most notably, Saberrider's fontsract and Stewf's Leaflet family. Using Josef Albers' Kombinationsschrift alphabet (1928-1931) as my foundation, I've been having a lot of fun remixing and experimenting with his letters. 'Sessions' is the first to get shared.
