The typeface draws inspiration from the long tradition of German Fraktur styled blackletters. The name Hunstrück is taken from a mountain range in Germany called the Hunsrück. Primarily I was aiming to build a face that would work well as a display type for gig posters and larger headlines but as I reworked the typeface I tried to strike a balance between text and display. Big thanks goes to djnippa for his hard work in spacing this font properly. In the first place, the first member of the MULTIVERSE family, called MULTIVERSE*sunburst, came up with a quite simple, minimalistic form/style, because i tried to catch the main focus on it's fading effect. So to say, the form/style had total secondary priority.
