Originally based on teeth braces, then it turned into the internally reinforced steel bars in concrete pillars. That are used in the construction industry to help support buildings secondary flooring and roofs. Having helped my father build several houses as a young man, making this font resurrected many 'back breaking' days of shoveling cement into wooden jibs then dropping in the reinforced steel....! It is certainly a lot easier designing a font. I did this by approaching it in a different manor by looking into the value of 3D curves, for example poles. This was then developed from phone masts into the forms of aerial and radar.
