Roughly based on my NCD Black Square fontstruct, but massively scaled up to accommodate the internal lines. I found that the small caps version works nicely when used in odd combinations with the lower case. Particularly the upper 'R'. Most difficult characters were the F/f. I wasn't too keen on the open space they made, so I've added more than a few alternatives. The 'r', 'J' & 'L' gave me a similar visual dilemma. I have also completed a version with Normal Caps. Which will be displayed soon. It's focused on beeing very small, monospaced and easy to read. In the process of drawing these new weights, I began modifying some of the forms of the new glyphs away from the original Chesterfield glyphs in order to build a more flexible brick/grid structure for the development of various weights. The most noticeable difference between these three new faces and the original is the lowered x-height. That said, there are still some compromises between the different weights and because of that I've given them these royalty names instead of the normal practice of light, regular, and bold weight names. One of the biggest compromises occurs in the Prince weight, where I was unable to add the notch where bowls and shoulders meet stems (see King and Queen weights) without adding too much extra black weight to those parts of the glyph. A work in progress for sure. Any help/thoughts/repulsions/bile appreciated. Note that the infinity symbol (∞) has been placed in the location of the trademark sign (™), because FontStruct does not provide an infinity slot, and RuneScape does not have a TM sign. Note that ∞ cannot be said in-game, however it is used in the representation of certain item quantities. The font contains all characters which may be said in RuneScape, all at 100% accuracy (with the exception of infinity). This font is intended for use in RS screenshot faking and RS videos. -------------------------- Note that simply selecting "Bold" with the ordinary font may lead to flaws, as the RS bold font has different glyphs for Wqw089,"'!$-; and `. In the process of drawing these new weights, I began modifying some of the forms of the new glyphs away from the original Chesterfield glyphs in order to build a more flexible brick/grid structure for the development of various weights. The most noticeable difference between these three new faces and the original is the lowered x-height. That said, there are still some compromises between the different weights and because of that I've given them these royalty names instead of the normal practice of light, regular, and bold weight names. One of the biggest compromises occurs in the Prince weight, where I was unable to add the notch where bowls and shoulders meet stems (see King and Queen weights) without adding too much extra black weight to those parts of the glyph. A work in progress for sure. Any help/thoughts/repulsions/bile appreciated.
