2%20Downloads23%20Comments327%20Glyphs27this%20started%20from%20mortar%20board.%20thanks%20to%20afrojet%20for%20suggesting%20this%20family%20%3A%29%20i%20honesty%20thought%20mortar%20board%20would%20be%20a%20one%20shot%2C%20although%20i%20did%20like%20the%20simplicity%20in%20the%20original%2C%20it%20was%20very%20much%20captive%20to%20the%20mortar%20board.%0D%0A%0D%0Aso%20the%20family%20actually%20starts%20here%20although%20this%20is%20actually%20the%20last%20clone%20i%20did%20of%20mortar%20board%20to%20complete%20the%20family.%20kinda%20full%20circle.%0D%0A%0D%0Ai%20really%20feel%20most%20times%20any%20font%20can%20automatically%20be%20two%20or%20more.%20i%20find%20it%20interesting%20developing%20families%20and%20this%20is%20by%20far%20my%20largest.%20i%20also%20think%20it%20offers%20potential%20users%20more%20options.%0D%0A%0D%0Amany%20of%20these%20are%20indulgences%20i%20suppose.%20with%20i%20guess%20is%20really%20any%20font.%20i%20mean%2C%20aren%27t%20they%20all%20just%20really%20ornamentation%3F%20even%20the%20most%20simplest%3F%0D%0A%0D%0Aso%20with%20afrojet%27s%20marching%20orders%20i%20proceeded.%20the%20idea%20of%20these%20glyphs%20marching%20to%20commencement%20and%20ending%20with%20tossing%20the%20mb%27s%20in%20the%20air%20was%20cute%20%3A%29%20after%20taking%20off%20the%20mb%27s%2C%20my%20next%20thought%20was%20make%20%27em%20fat%20and%20try%20to%20add%20some%20character%20to%20each%20set%20-%20not%20just%20a%20font%20for%20font%20sakes.%20but%20at%20the%20same%20time%2C%20not%20be%20afraid%20to%20explore%20a%20variation%20even%20though%20it%20may%20only%20be%20subtle%20changes%20that%20are%20made.%20whether%20the%20font%20has%20any%20value%20is%20left%20for%20the%20user%20to%20decide.%20i%20have%20found%20with%20these%20type%20of%20experiments%20to%20apply%20changes%20across%20the%20set%20vs.%20drilling%20down%20on%20each%20glyph.%20likewise%20though%2C%20i%20have%20found%20it%20useful%20to%20build%20out%20some%20glyphs%20to%20capture%20those%20flashes%20that%20come%20when%20working%20on%20individual%20glyphs.%0D%0A%0D%0Aso%20i%27m%20thinking%20about%20where%20i%20want%20to%20go%20with%20the%20family%2C%20i%20wanted%20to%20definitely%20go%20from%20thin%20to%20thick.%20so%20how%3F%0D%0A%0D%0Athat%20said%2C%20i%20hope%20you%20enjoy%20these%20and%20maybe%20find%20one%20or%20two%20that%20are%20useful%20for%20you.%20i%27ve%20tried%20to%20summarize%20each%20as%20follows%3A%20%0D%0A%0D%0A1.%20mortar%20booted%20-%20the%20%221st%22%20without%20the%20mb.%0D%0A2.%20mortar%20booted%20separated%20-%20i%20pulled%20apart%20the%20sides%20to%20make%20them%20taller%20-%20i%20realized%20i%20would%20need%20more%20height%20in%20the%20upper%2Flower%20halves%20of%20the%20grid.%0D%0A3.%20mortar%20booted%20separated%20filled%20-%20just%20filled%20in%20the%20spaces.%0D%0A4.%20mortar%20booted%20separated%20inline%20-%20here%20i%20took%20the%20separated%20version%20and%20added%20an%20inline%20to%20the%20set.%0D%0A5.%20mortar%20booted%20separated%20filled%20inline%20-%20just%20filled%20in%20the%20spaces.%20%0D%0Amortar%20booted%20separated%20inline%20stuck%20-%20when%20i%20cloned%20the%20separated%20inline%20version%20and%20with%20the%20default%20spacing%20at%200%2C%20i%20was%20intrigued%20by%20the%20effect%20so%20decided%20to%20make%20it%20a%20set.%0D%0A6.%20mortar%20booted%20separated%20filled%20inline%20stuck%20-%20same%20with%20the%20clone%20of%20this%20one.%20liked%20it%20and%20made%20it%20another%20version.%0D%0A7.%20mortar%20booted%20mission%20-%20ok%2C%20this%20one%20is%20a%20little%20ornamented.%20i%20kinds%20of%20reminds%20me%20of%20a%20space%20helmet%20from%20some%20sci-fi%20b-movie.%20this%20one%20is%20probably%20the%20most%20unique%20in%20the%20family%20just%20because%20of%20the%20additional%20elements%20used.%20on%20those%20glyphs%20that%20only%20had%20verticals%2C%20i%20ended%20up%20stretching%20them%20down%20or%20up%20to%20the%20level%20of%20the%20top%20or%20bottom%20%22panels%22.%20i%20kinda%20like%20it%20%3A%29%0D%0A8.%20mortar%20booted%20thick%20-%20i%20finally%20got%20to%20the%20thick%20version%20by%20taking%20separated%20filled%20inline%20and%20filling%20in%20the%20inline%20%3A%29%0D%0A9.%20mortar%20booted%20thick%20modified%20-%20i%20decided%20to%20play%20with%20some%20of%20the%20thickness%20and%20saw%20potential%20in%20some%20glyphs%20to%20really%20add%20some%20character%20to%20the%20character%20%3A%29%0D%0A10.%20mortar%20booted%20thick%20modified%20stuck%20-%20did%20a%20clone%20and%20like%20the%20effect%20again%20%3A%29%0D%0A11.%20mortar%20booted%20thick%20modified%20more%20-%20decided%20to%20take%20some%20the%20characters%20a%20little%20bit%20further.%20this%20is%20more%20edgier%20i%20guess.%0D%0A%0D%0A...and%20that%27s%20all%20folks%21
