Same in Illustrator. Curious, I opened it in FontLab Studio. Turns out, the characters that have a half-wide brick left of the left edge in FontStruct are another half-brick-width over in the TrueType file. This retains a degree of user-friendliness for new initiates to the site. (No mucking about with special keys for rotations.) If the user's palette floated like the others, that would give more room too. Since updating Photoshop a few times over the years, I lost the font and haven't found it in any subsequent update. I don't know if it still exists, and haven't been able to find it. Having used the font frequently in the past, and needing to use it again, I decided to recreate it with FontStruct and name it after the website I primarily used it for.
