Unconventionally fontstructed while adhering to the impositions of the law of the brick. What do I mean? Just try recreating the letter A. I wanted to experiment with Fontstruct, and see if it was possible to create a conventional font that did not look inferior compared to the ones advertised by Fontshop at the bottom of the page.This%20is%20a%20preview%20of%20my%20latest%20work%3A%20a%20slab%20serif%20with%20a%20contemporary%20touch.%20I%20wanted%20to%20experiment%20with%20Fontstruct%2C%20and%20see%20if%20it%20was%20possible%20to%20create%20a%20conventional%20font%20that%20did%20not%20look%20inferior%20compared%20to%20the%20ones%20advertised%20by%20Fontshop%20at%20the%20bottom%20of%20the%20page.

Much inspired by Greek and Celtic, and i think it gives it an elvish look, and since it is a pixel font, i called it pixies.I%20have%20used%20different%20alternates%20to%20make%20the%20upper%20case%20and%20lower%20case%20logical%20and%20as%20much%20alike%20as%20possible.%20Much%20inspired%20by%20Greek%20and%20Celtic%2C%20and%20i%20think%20it%20gives%20it%20an%20elvish%20look%2C%20and%20since%20it%20is%20a%20pixel%20font%2C%20i%20called%20it%20pixies.

Counting a certain kinds of bricks as one--all four 45degree, for instance--gives 36 unique bricks, resulting in 630 (36C2) unique combinations or fonts.In this font, if the bricks are swapped with each other, the result will be a different font. Hence order of the bricks matter. In which case, nCr (combinations) is not the right choice. Based on a 1.78 filter so the rounded corner squares would fit with the quarter circles. Diagonals end up narrowing the inside lines, so I tried to used them as less as possible. Accents designed in case they are absolutely necessary; suggestions are welcome on how to improve them. 17.08.09 Modified j and added an alternative j instead of ® and also a special dj ligature instead of ©. Small letters are only 6px X 6px and large letters are 8px X 10px. Diagonals play a very important role in the construction of each letter. Also diagonals are more thick than the horizontal and vertical lines if you notice. So I named it Diagonal Knife. I tried to keep the font as simple as possible using minimum number of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. Tried to keep the corners of the letters little blunt instead of very sharp.
