I created this inspired by influences from Ralph steadman and Jackson pollock using the concept of inconsistansy and randomized mark making with ink. the name is derived from a quote from the book "fear and loathing in las vagas". I designed it by firstly creating the text with a pot of ink and the back side of a biro pen, then from that i drew them by hand onto A4 sheets of graph paper limitating each line to only 4 given angles, then finally transfering that onto fontstruct wich took roughly 30-40mins per letter. Each is a different duration (eigth, quarter, half, whole). Use shift on those to go up an octave. Space is for formatting; one space between notes usually works. Brackets are left/right staff ends, and vertical line | is the measure divider. The right side of the keyboard is used for flats and sharps. Plus and minus are time signatures (still working on those). Identified as "No. 1229" in their Lettres Fantaises of 1896, it sports a very fine side shadow, which I've attempted to re-create here. (I found the "No. 1229" sample on Hoefler & Frere-Jones' blog - fifth image from the top.) This FontStruction is split in two to make downloading possible. I intended it to be all caps, but lowercase was possible within the designRule(:P) so I added them too (though only lowercase spanish accents, ü, µ, @ and some basic punctuation gliphs are included for the moment being). 25.03.09 grid tripled.
