First I added one brick to the x-height; second I added little connecting, er, nubs for a very tightly spaced continuous script. From there, I was basically done, but then had very little restraint and took it to this point, which is now sort of a mishmash of styles (let’s just go ahead and rule out all caps settings right here and now ;) I am hoping one of y’all fontstructors will chime in with the next version that really knits the job up all nice like! I'm sorry this isn't very complete and far from being perfectly well done, but it somewhat started to make me feel dizzy...;) And even though I'm not very convinced by this, I don't think I'd come up with a way better execution soon.I hope for Mr Escher that there are better tribute fonts for him out there! He'd definitely deserve it...It was by the way funk_king's Impossible Alphabet that reminded me of this unfinished thing laying around in my messy unpublished fontstructions box, and made me take it out and finish it. (If you can call 42 characters "finished".) Each is a different duration (eigth, quarter, half, whole). Use shift on those to go up an octave. Space is for formatting; one space between notes usually works. Brackets are left/right staff ends, and vertical line | is the measure divider. The right side of the keyboard is used for flats and sharps. Plus and minus are time signatures (still working on those). Started off quite different; this is how it ended-up. My conclusion: All fonts want to be blackletter....because%20it%27s%20not%20quite%20blackletter%2C%20is%20it%3F%3Cbr%3E%26nbsp%3B%26nbsp%3B%26nbsp%3B%26nbsp%3B%26nbsp%3BThis%20font%20went%20through%20a%20lot%20of%20%28interrupted%29%20modification.%20Started%20off%20quite%20different%3B%20this%20is%20how%20it%20ended-up.%20My%20conclusion%3A%20All%20fonts%20want%20to%20be%20blackletter.

After checking many of the available versions (specially Pauldhunt's Structurosa) I thought it would be fun to clone Meek's logo and update it with the bricks available now (logo is numbered 96 & this clone is 218867, Structurosa is 7294). I originally liked Meek's x but ended up just using it as the asterisk and the c and s got slimmed down to match the actual FS logo design. g and y came from Structurosa, which also influenced the e, x and k. And from Jenjes232's FSion I took the v. The rest just popped out while figuring out the possibilities.
