It started off as a joke to create a death metal sans serif display typeface that is more legible and readable. Its called Skool Sux, because it reminded me of something a young kid might carve into a desk at school. I think it came out ok for my first fontstruction. I know it needs some work, so I am open to any comments/critiques. I will be doing the numbers and punctuation sometime soon. They have no diagonals, just semi-circles and straight lines. This alphabet is the attempt to extend this construction principle to a complete (well: caps only) alphabet that you could easily cut from metal. And - like any principle that doesn’t come from writing – it doesn’t really work.
