Identified as "No. 1229" in their Lettres Fantaises of 1896, it sports a very fine side shadow, which I've attempted to re-create here. (I found the "No. 1229" sample on Hoefler & Frere-Jones' blog - fifth image from the top.) This FontStruction is split in two to make downloading possible. The issue was not getting the letters done—they are rather simplistic after all—it was more to do with getting the preview windows to display the letters correctly. I tried lots of different filter settings. The slim break lines only previewed properly at 1.5 scaled bricks or below but they were too thick at that point. 1.8 brick scaling gave the desired result but left the preview a mess. Catch-22 is such a nightmare for perfectionists. In the end, I chose the correctness of glyphs over preview. Hence, the imperative letter A. A little interweb research gave some hints at a few more glyphs than the initial six glyphs in the 'Slurpee' logo. In some cases, like with the 'c' glyph, I noticed that it had been drawn differently in different usage. See here and here. Being that the current Slurpee logo is Unicase, I decided to try and make uppercase and lowercase alternatives that can be mixed and matched for the unicase feel. See also Chank Diesel's wonderful font Cosmic, which draws from the old school Slurpee branding. P.S.
