When the half-angle blocks were first introduced I thought I would be the last one to produce an old style or transistional sans-serif typeface. Looking through the gallery, I still don't see any attempts. Creating a serif font with blocks is very much a square peg for a round hole, but I enjoyed the challenge. I tried to emphasis all the minor details, like angled stress, or the bottom terminal of the lowercase b. I spent a lot of time on this months ago, but after a while, just lost the drive to complete all the characters. Maybe you're up to the task.

Had this idea in my sketchbook for a really minimalist, blocky sort of font and decided to see if I could flesh it out in fontstruct. Its not great but it might have some sort of application somewhere.

Slightly modified version of Lexitron 1. Also added some punctuation and copied the uppercase letters into the lowercase for ease of use.

This is my first font created here.
I tried to build the font only with straight lines and no curves. Small letters are only 6px X 6px and large letters are 8px X 10px. Diagonals play a very important role in the construction of each letter. Also diagonals are more thick than the horizontal and vertical lines if you notice. So I named it Diagonal Knife. I tried to keep the font as simple as possible using minimum number of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. Tried to keep the corners of the letters little blunt instead of very sharp.
Suggestion, Criticism, Appreciation are welcome. If you like the font or have any advice or request please do comment.
