Inspired by caseycastille's Chinese Chairs, this started out as an exploration of optional letters for that font. Then I just doodled some repeating patterns. Then I saw how I can fill the patterns inside the letters. They fit together pretty easily for vertical letters, but diagonals were really tricky. The end product resembled Hawaiian leis draped over each glyph. Very floral. So there you have it. Flowers. For Casey. :)

This is my first font created here. I tried to build the font only with straight lines and no curves. Small letters are only 6px X 6px and large letters are 8px X 10px. Diagonals play a very important role in the construction of each letter. Also diagonals are more thick than the horizontal and vertical lines if you notice. So I named it Diagonal Knife. I tried to keep the font as simple as possible using minimum number of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. Tried to keep the corners of the letters little blunt instead of very sharp. Suggestion, Criticism, Appreciation are welcome. If you like the font or have any advice or request please do comment. A bold & funky font with inside lines. Based on a 1.78 filter so the rounded corner squares would fit with the quarter circles. Diagonals end up narrowing the inside lines, so I tried to used them as less as possible. Accents designed in case they are absolutely necessary; suggestions are welcome on how to improve them. 17.08.09 Modified j and added an alternative j instead of ® and also a special dj ligature instead of ©. Question marks redesigned.

This is the result of my frustration of never getting capital A's with diagonals steep enough to go all the way down without getting way too wide: A tall font with 2x1 grid stretch, with - guess what - a capital A whose diagonals aren't steep enough to go all the way down without being too wide... Well, whatever! :P Maybe somebody likes it anyway! Alternate ampersand on 1/4.

Named for the composer of music for Sergio Leone's "Spaghetti Westerns". Steeper diagonals achieved by setting vertical scaling to 2. Alternate A, V, and W with overshooting apexes. Alt S without serifs. Figures on the way. Still needs work, especially on the K and Z. Suggestions welcome. Here's a showing.
