Sans Vs Serif was done for my Graphic Design course. It is built around the idea of chaos and fuses characters from Georgia and Futura Italic, one sans-serif, one serif.

The idea for the font came from looking at the curves in Wind ornaments. The block like structure of the wood and then the spiral effect. I also looked at Wooden table arrangments that resembled wood shavings, like ribbon curls. I wanted a contiuous theme to run through and link all the glyphs together. So i used the ribbon like structure as the backbone to all the uppercase and then serifs to link the Glyffs to each other. There is also a suggestion of movement in the style, as it is italic. I kept the decorative theme as well, to stay true to the concept behind the idea. This is a display font with a limited and definate purpose.

inspired by oldschool video racing games, but also by lapcounters in formula one. Every dot of this's got a size of 5x5 bricks!!! the reason for choosing such a superhigh resolution, was the idea to create an italic angle, which is impossible to do with the FSapplet. This is followed by a LOWER case plus numbers, called "pole position l/c". however...cheers,community and fontlovers!

Clone of Font Pixel – a pixel variant of Trade Gothic. This is the Oblique version of Font Pixel, as Trade Gothic lacks a true italic. The illusion of creating incline out of vertically stacked pixels was mastered by Underware for their typeface Unibody Italic and this heavily influenced Font Pixel OB... Here's a sample. Enjoy.
