I wanted to do a version of infix without the letters inside, but some of the letters were only distinguishable because the other letter was inside (D and O for example).

Clone of Starflyer Demo 1 ~ Lowercase suggestions. J, W and Z and font-wide letter spacing and character metrics adjusted. Pay special attention to the stroke contrast on the z, x, w, and s. If contrast is too low (or the thick stroke too thin), the lc will appear too dark or too light next to the caps, creating a disharmonious affect. Alternate as included in the more latin Unicode zone. Good work, Simon! You’re almost there! :^)

The typeface was created with influence from fonts used on circus posters, I wanted it to come across as quite flamboyant with a sleek, more modern undertone which I think I have achieved with the thin vertical lines. Following my ‘ornate’ theme I also wanted to keep each letter very attractive making each letter look like an ornament but also if used a full body text still holds this ornamental theme.

I made this for my UWE graphic design first year project "communicating with words". I created this inspired by influences from Ralph steadman and Jackson pollock using the concept of inconsistansy and randomized mark making with ink. the name is derived from a quote from the book "fear and loathing in las vagas". I designed it by firstly creating the text with a pot of ink and the back side of a biro pen, then from that i drew them by hand onto A4 sheets of graph paper limitating each line to only 4 given angles, then finally transfering that onto fontstruct wich took roughly 30-40mins per letter. This took me many, many hours of trying, learning, erasing and restarting. Especially the design of the caps was hard; sooo many possibilities! However, i'm proud to present you my first real blackletter font :) I would like to add some more glyphs to the "more latin" set, but the size seems to be close to the download limit. It's downloadable yet, but i had to erase some glyphs... ps: there's an alternate "a" on "@", and some decorative stuff on "#" and "*". cheers

The last and most difficult of the sharp serif experiments. Created on an 8 wide by 5 high base grid space. Unconventionally fontstructed while adhering to the impositions of the law of the brick. What do I mean? Just try recreating the letter A. It shouldn't be possible, so I did it anyway.

The letters can easily be made more legible. But it gets to be FUN & a-MAZE-d. Every letter/word has a solution. 4 types of spaces: space bar, @, #, %. Try it.

Inspired by the funk_king. The stems were created by extending the letter o from mr. funk_king's hemisphere fontstruction. Then things go haywire from there. This was hard, so I took a simpler approach to most of the letterforms for speed's sake. Thanks to meek and the Fontstruct staff for fixing the download.
