Mostly inspired by the video game QBert, which was, I'm sure, partly inspired by M. C. Escher. IsoMatrix was a font long before Fontstruct, and was much harder to realize with bricks than vectors. This one is shared thanks to the intricate 3D output of the following fontstructors: shasta's Escheresk, frodo's Hommage a Escher, and funk king's Soma. It is also released for Em42, because it was created purely with the original set of bricks that Fontstruct started out with.

the DOT experience continues... It gives you an unexpected kind of FREEDOM creating lines with dots. This time i doubled the resolution by using 2x2 circles. Finally your eye can help making curves of any size look complete and entirely smooth! Oh my god... I see more possibilities now than ever before!! That technique of "dotting", as i call it, will make my brain bust, i guess. :P May the force be with me!

Traditional half-tone printing screen effect. Spaces between letters have small dots, so does the space (bar).

This is a condensed version of the Dot Matrix LCD Font used on the Ricoh Aficio AP3800C, Aficio AP3200 and AP306D printers, among others. I have also added some letters myself, and some extra symbols used on these printers. It doesn't contain the copyright, registered trademark or trademark symbols. Since this is a condensed font, not all characters are the same width. For all the folks out there who got their start in computerised typesetting... here's a font to mimic the unique, trend-setting bitmap typeface used by a certain manufacturer of dot-matrix printers. (Actually, it's a blend of several of their printers.) If anyone can provide samples of print to fill in the remaining characters, I'll gladly add 'em in!

Otis is a dot matrix font based on the LED display of the elevator in my building as well as an amalgamation of various other digital displays around San Francisco. See also Otis Bold for a bold weight. Includes diacritics, small caps, old style and lining figures, alternates, ligatures and some elevator dingbats.
