This type face is inspired by creation i've saw on the web. she's working well but not at every size... There some kind of anthropi on screen. I've already create the uppercase, but i'm not able to download them, so i publish only the lowercase here. Zen

I made this for my UWE graphic design first year project "communicating with words". I created this inspired by influences from Ralph steadman and Jackson pollock using the concept of inconsistansy and randomized mark making with ink. the name is derived from a quote from the book "fear and loathing in las vagas". I designed it by firstly creating the text with a pot of ink and the back side of a biro pen, then from that i drew them by hand onto A4 sheets of graph paper limitating each line to only 4 given angles, then finally transfering that onto fontstruct wich took roughly 30-40mins per letter. Well, apparently everybody here likes building letters... And I'm sure everybody got told at least once to finally shut down that damn computer while fontstructing. Here's how you can go on tinkering fonts even with the computer unplugged!;) I had carried this idea around with me a long time ago, doing some sketches, but abandoning it cause I thought all the thin and dotted lines would go beyond fontstruct's possibilities. Until funk_king proved me wrong... Thanks for the re-inspiration! I think this is pretty self-explaining. Cut along the solid lines, fold along the dotted lines and put some glue on the shaded parts, put it all together, and there you go with your new toys! Unfortunately it was impossible to fill all the inner sides of all the counters, but I tried to leave them open where you'd see it least. There might also be some bugs, I haven't tried them out yet. Pure brainwork so far... (My brain's still in the freezer to cool down a bit) In case someone ever actually uses them and finds something wrong, please let me know! Hope you like it!:) Check out the fill font if you wanna print your own custom-made design on the letters! Edit 5th August: Just copied the uppercase on the lowercase for reasons of convenience... I might add some alternates for some letters on the lowercase though, probably coming in September. Sorry, exam-time.;)

The aim that i was heading for throughout developing my typeface was an energetic, moving and vibrating looking typeface with much expression within. To begin with, I used the hand-rendered approach for designing, I also experimented before creating my final typeface by moving hand-rendered letters on paper and photographing this movement. Experimental approaches before hand gave me a good feel for how I wanted my final typeface to look. I was inspired throughout my development by heat, light and power. These forms of energy all gave me determination because I hoped for a very energetic outcome! I feel that my final typeface shows energy and vibration which is what I had hoped for. This font is deficting vibrating energy.!

That's my handwriting. Scanned a piece of paper with a handwritten alphabet and redraw it as exactly as possible. I know it's sloppy but that's the effect I wanted and my handwriting is in fact very sloppy.

I could have called this "Ribbon Triline"... But there are enough differences with Ribbon Inline to merit giving this FontStruction a new name. For example, it has a proper lower case, and the cap height is slightly beneath the ascender line, to increase legibility.

The idea is mimicking the form of bending paper clips. But I find it hard to create smooth round bends. Nevertheless, each alhpabet is formed by one single wire, thus the name implies.

Hello boys and girls. This is my debut fontstruction. It was a lovely day. This one wasn't inspired by anything. It comes out from the paper with companionship of scissors. Simple idea + thinking about 3D solutions + checking possibilities of FontStruct editor. Try to use it before rating it. Feel free to leave a comment. Have a nice evening. Greetings from Poland.
