The idea came from an old Russian postcard with similar grid boxes for the postcode. I tried to draw upper and lower case letters. Use at 16 pixels and at your own risk.

This monospace font is designed to appear almost visually equal to MS Windows Terminal 10x18 raster font at the same font-size, but reveals its vector nature at the greater sizes, has better shape than a pixel font and contains more Unicode glyphs. The font is intended for Fidonet FGHI applications where look-and-feel of Windows console should be emulated to help former users of Fidonet console editors (such as GoldED+) feel themselves comfortable and at ease.

A slightly more legible version of NCD Black Square. Based on a Black Square of Russian Artist of Kazimir Malevich. Only using the smallest amount of manipulation possible to give a real minimalist effect. Whilst still retaining some form of legibility. The Black Square of Kazimir Malevich is one of the most famous creations of Russian art in the last century. The first Black Square was painted in 1915 to become the turning point in the development of Russian avant-garde.
